Pesanta Urfolk Wants You Near the Light of Ancestral Fires
Wonderful vinyl label and distro Pesanta Urfolk is putting on an outdoor festival, to be held in late September. Similar to the Gathering of the Shadows, it will be a minimalist camping trip/concert featuring a stellar lineup of DIY-minded groups. Unlike Gathering of the Shadows, it’s going to feature over 30 bands. Stella Natura: The Light of Ancestral Fires will feature label favorites Ash Borer and Velnias, while playing host to a plethora of other fantastic acts, including the introspective melodies of Aerial Ruin and the blackened weirdness of L’Acephale. If you’re anywhere near northern California September 21st-23rd, you could do much worse than to attend this undeniably exciting ritual.
